David Benefield raised under the gun to 32,000 and Marvin Rettenmaier went into the tank. He was seated to Benefield's left and folded after about ten seconds. The action then was folded to Fung Cheung who moved all in from the big blind. Benefield called right away.

The board ran out , and Cheung was knocked out. After counting down both stacks it was made clear that both players had identical stacks. They each had 234,000, and Benefield took all of it.
Daniel Negreanu and John Juanda got all the money in on the flop with around 230,000 chips already in the middle. The pot was a massive one as Negreanu was all in on the flop for a little over 800,000 in chips. Juanda had him covered. Preflop, Juanda opened, Negreanu three-bet, and Juanda called.
Juanda held the for a flopped set of fours. Negreanu held the for an overpair of kings.
The turn was the and river the to give Juanda the huge pot and send Negreanu to the rail. Juanda moved to over two million in chips.
The board read when John Juanda bet 120,000 into Fabian Quoss. The German tanked for a long time, but eventually he made the call. Juanda showed and Quoss shook his head as he mucked his cards. He's left with just a few big blinds.
Marvin Rettenmaier just won back-to-back hands in order to give him another shot at making the final table. On the first hand Mike Watson raised under the gun to 35,000. Rettenmaier was in the small blind, and he called with little chips behind. Scott Seiver gave up his big blind.
The flop came down , and Rettenmaiaer moved all in almost instantly. Watson was facing a 113,000-chip bet, but after about a minute he decided to fold.
On the very next hand Rettenmaier moved all in from the button. Philipp Gruissem called quickly from the big blind.
After Richard Yong checked the flop, Steve O'Dwyer fired 90,000. John Juanda was next to act and called before Yong folded.
The river was the to pair the board, and O'Dwyer bet 150,000. Juanda counted out some raising chips and fired in 450,000. O'Dwyer tanked, then folded, and Juanda climbed up over 2.6 million.

On the turn the popped up, and Juanda threw out a 175,000-chip bet. O'Dwyer tanked for quite some time before me made the call. On the river the hit and both players checked.
Juanda showed and took down another pot with a set. O'Dwyer seemed a bit frustrated, but he's still among the big stacks.
Action folded to David Benefield on the button, and he raised all in for 387,000. In the small blind, Marvin Rettenmaier called all in for 377,000. Everyone else folded.
Rettenmaier:
Benefield:
The flop came down and provided an extra sweat for Rettenmaier.
The turn delivered exactly what Rettenmaier didn't want to see as the fell and gave Benefield a straight. Rettenmaier now needed a deuce or seven to split the pot as his only hope of staying alive.
The river was the to complete the board, and that wasn't what Rettenmaier was looking for. Being slightly out-chipped, Rettenmaier was eliminated as Benefield moved back over 800,000 in chips.
