Vornicu Takes Some Off Sameeian

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, Ali Sameeian checked the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and Valentin Vornicu bet 30,000, which Sameeian called. The {6-Clubs} turn brought a quick check by Sameeian again and Vornicu bet 82,000, Sameeian called. The {10-Spades} river was c hecked through and Sameeian announced king-high, Vornicu showed {J-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and won the pot.

Rene Crha raised to 40,000 one hand later and Sameeian's three-bet to 140,000 got the job done, as Crha folded. Sameeian then headed to the rail to get some fresh air, still somewhat annoyed how the hand against Vornicu had played out.
