Lakhov Wins The Pot

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Alexander Lakhov limped in from the cutoff, as did Teun Kooij from the button. Andreas Klatt completed from the small blind and Sergio Fernandez in the big blind raised to 16,000. Lakhov and Kooij both called and Klatt folded.

They checked through the {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} on the flop and the {8-Spades} on the turn. The {J-Spades} on the river completed the board and Fernandez checked. Lakhov bet 12,000 and both Kooij and Fernandez called. Lakhov showed {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for trip jacks and the others mucked their hands.

Kooij Triples Up

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Teun Kooij shoved all in for his remaining 3,000 and was called by Sergio Fernandez and Josep Galindo in the blinds.

They both checked all the way through the {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board with Fernandez taking the side pot. And Kooij was awarded the main pot as he showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush, worth a triple up.

Mir Hits a Straight Flush

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Josep Galindo completed from the small blind and [Removed:108] raised to 12,000 in the big blind. Galindo called.

They both checked on the {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop. After the {6-Hearts} came on the turn, Galindo bet 15,000 and Mir called.

The {J-Clubs} on the river completed the board, and now Galindo bet 40,000 only to see Mir snap-call. Galindo showed two of his cards which were {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for two pair, jacks and nines with the king as the kicker. Mir showed {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} initially for the ace-high flush, but then also showed his other two cards to reveal {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. He did not realize that he had hit a straight flush until the rest of the table pointed it out to him. Either way, his hand was good.

Hellmuth Eliminated

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth made it 14,000 from under the gun. Maciej Kondraszuk called in the small blind, as did Theodoros Aldonopoulos in the big blind. The flop of {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} was checked by all players. The turn was the {6-Spades}. Kondraszuk bet 14,000. Aldonopoulos folded and Hellmuth open-mucked {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

The next hand, Hellmuth was in the big blind and checked after Madhukar Pandya limped under the gun and Aldonopoulos completed in the small blind.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Aldonopoulos bet 7,000 and Hellmuth moved all in for 9,500. Pandya called, as did Aldonopoulos. Both remaining players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn and the {a-Hearts} river and all cards were turned over.

Madhukar Pandya: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Theodoros Aldonopoulos: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Phil Hellmuth: {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Hellmuth's two pair, nines and threes with a king kicker, was no good and Pandya won the pot with aces up. Hellmuth was eliminated from the tournament. There will be a short pause as the players redraw around three tables.

Primerano Doubled Up

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Madhukar Pandya raised to 17,500 from the under-the-gun position and was called by the player in mid-position and Daniele Primerano in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Primerano checked, Pandya bet 55,000, the other player folded and Primerano shoved all in for the 106,000 he had behind. Pandy counted out the chips, thought about it for a while and then called.

Daniele Primerano: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Madhukar Pandya: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Primerano had flopped a straight and the {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {J-Hearts} on the river didn't change anything so he doubled up.
