The opponent of Korbinian Sonnenholzner bet the flop of {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for 4,000 out of the big blind and the German raised to 10,100. His opponent moved all in and Sonnenholzner called with {A-Spades}{10-Spades} for top two. The big blind showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a huge draw, but the {7-Hearts} turn and {5-Hearts} river blanked.

One hand later, Sonnenholzner raised to 4,800 and called a shove by a short stack from one seat over for 26,200 with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. This time he had a coin flip versus {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} and saw the board run out {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. If Sonnenholzner had won that second all in showdown as well, he would have closed the gap to big stack Peter Wagner on the same table.
