Odeen and Subik Double

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Jan Subik
Jan Subik

Jerry Odeen turned his starting into five times of that after doubling through Muhamet Perati while Martin Kabrhel was left short and loudly complained to please move Viliyan Petleshkov to another table after the Bulgarian had apparently shoved with queen-three suited.

Right after at that very table, Aleksandar Tomovic raised to 7,300 and Theodore McQuilkin three-bet to 41,500 from the cutoff. Jan Šubík called all in from the button for 40,100 and everyone else including Tomovic got out of the way.

Jan Šubík: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Theodore McQuilkin: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board came {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Subik doubled.

Leng Bests Palyuga

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ryan Leng started the day as the chip leader and has since dropped into the middle of the pack, but remains above the average with 55 players remaining. Leng just raised to 8,000 on the button and Andriy Palyuga called from the small blind. Both checked the {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop and the {5-Diamonds} turn before the {K-Clubs} river paired the board for the second time.

Palyuga bet 11,000 and called a raise to 46,000 by Leng, then mucked when he was shown {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a full house. The next hand, Leng raised to 6,500 from the cutoff and Palyuga shoved from the button to get a few chips back.

Odeen Busts Kulcsar

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Gergely Kulcsár was all in and at risk for his last 27,000 and Jerry Odeen quickly called to table {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Kulcsar was in dire shape with the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and almost found a chop on the board of {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades} before leaving the tournament area with a "good luck guys."

Odeen, who busted in the last hand of Day 1 and re-entered before the start of Day 2, has boosted his stack to more than the average.

Twito Runs Into Two Big Hands

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Liran Twito
Liran Twito

Sergio Fernandez raised to 6,500 from the hijack and Liran Twito three-bet to 17,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Fernandez who made the call and the flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Both players checked to the {j-Hearts} on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Fernandez made a large bet of 27,000 on the river and Twito called. Fernandez turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Twito mucked his hand.

In the next hand, Twito got his remaining 81,000 in the middle holding {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} but ran into the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of chip leader, Luis Dono. The board ran out {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and just like that, Twito was eliminated before the money bubble.

Hughes Fired All Three Streets

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ryan Hughes opened to 7,000 from under the gun and Iurie Cudrinschi called from the big blind with the largest stack on the table. The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Cudrinschi check-called a bet of 10,300 from Hughes.

The turn paired the board with the {j-Clubs} and Cudrinschi checked again. Hughes fired another 20,300 and Cudrinschi called. The {k-Diamonds} completed the board and Cudrinschi checked for the third time. Hughes immediately tossed in a bet of 45,000 and Cudrinschi went into the tank for a couple minute. The clock was eventually called, forcing Cudrinschi to act on his hand and he finally called. Hughes turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Cudrinschi's cards went to the muck.
