Sigurjonsson Builds Stack

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On the flop of {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Cosmin Joldis bet 3,800 and Zhivko Sotirov called. Gudmundur Sigurjonsson check-raised to 11,000 out of the big blind. Joldis folded and Sotirov called. Both then checked down the {K-Clubs} turn and {7-Diamonds} river, and Sigurjonsson flashed {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} to win the pot.

On the tail end of a hand between Pedro Oliveira and Sam Grafton, the latter checked the {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts} river out of the big blind Oliveira bet 2,800 into 8,000. Grafton moved all in and the clock was called on Oliveira eventually folded after plenty of consideration.

Fink and Aidonopoulos Eliminated

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Theodoros Aidonopoulos
Theodoros Aidonopoulos

Andreas Fink was all in for his last 6,000 and Ronald Keijzer looked him up with the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. Fink only had {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and failed to get there on a board of {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

One table over, Theodoros Aidonopoulos and Michal Mrakes clashed twice. First Aidonopoulos three-bet to 12,500 after an open raise by Kadir Uzunoglu and folded to the four-bet of Mrakes before then three-bet shoving for 19 big blinds with {K-}{Q-} into the {A-}{J-} of Mrakes. The board came up blank and that was it for the Greek.

Klima Pushes; Joldis Busts

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Cosmic Joldis
Cosmic Joldis

In a three-bet pot between Teunis Kooij in the cutoff and Lukas Klima in the small blind, the latter bet the {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and was called before moving all in after the {10-Diamonds} turn. Kooij eyed the stack of his opponent carefully and folded.

Soon after, Cosmin Joldis was all in and at risk for 18,200 on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} turn and Jaromir Hanel asked for a count before calling with {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for top pair. Joldis showed {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the river was a blank.

Chaffe Bows Out

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Michael Chaffe was all in and at risk for his last 10,600 and had the classic coin flip with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} against the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} of Andreas Klatt. The board came {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Chaffe hit the rail.

Rex Clinkscales was more fortunate, as he turned the nut straight with {K-Hearts}{10-Spades} on a board of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to double for 18,100.

Klatt Loses a Big One

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Christian Thiry, Zhivko Sotirov and Martin Bartos have been eliminated. Bartos was all in for 100 chips from under the gun and Ronald Keijzer raised to 4,000 from the cutoff. Christopher Münst called on the button, as did Jean-Noel Thorel from the big blind. The flop came {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Thorel checked, Keijzer bet 7,500 and Thorel was the only caller.

After the {3-Spades} turn, Thorel moved all in and Keijzer quickly folded.

Bartos had turned a straight with {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, but Thorel had the flush ready with {8-Spades}{7-Spades} to make the {10-Spades} river a formality.

Pedro Oliveira pushed Jeff Cormier off a big pot by moving in for 40,000 on the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} river and the Canadian tank-folded.

Last but not least, Patrick Schuhl bet-called all in for 32,900 out of the big blind on the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop after a preflop three-bet. Andreas Klatt had pushed with {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for the open-ended straight draw and Schuhl turned over [KcdKh] for the overpair. The {10-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} ruver were blanks and Schuhl doubled.
