Thomas Pettersson
Thomas Pettersson

Thomas Pettersson shoved short for four big blinds with {K-}{Q-} and Jaromir Hanel called in the big blind with {A-}{7-} to remain ahead and let the bubble burst.

Right after, Sam Grafton pushed for three big blinds with the {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} from the small blind and Andrei Badulescu called from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The board came {K-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Grafton had to settle for a min-cash.

A Chop and a Double on the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Ronald Keijzer raised to 5,800 and called the shove of Lukas Klima for 26,500. Keijzer turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Klima had the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, there was no sweat on the board {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.

Three players limped in including Kadir Uzunoglu, Cheng Ching-Weng and Patrick Schuhl on the button. Roman Volk pushed from the small blind for 22,800 and it folded back to Schuhl. "You want to gamble?" the Frenchman asked and Volk shook his head. "Maybe I want to gamble," Schuhl continued and called shortly after.

Roman Volk: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Patrick Schuhl: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Volk doubled with a full house.

Break with 28 Remaining

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Vyacheslav Stoyanov suffers massive setback
Vyacheslav Stoyanov suffers massive setback

Vyacheslav Stoyanov raised and tank-called the three-bet shove of Ronald Keijzer for 79,700 to set up the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Ronald Keijzer: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Vyacheslav Stoyanov: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board came {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Keijzer hit a runner runner flush to crack the flopped set of Stoyanov. Right after, all 28 remaining players headed into a 20-minute break. Kai Münster and Petro Popovych can take a longer break, though, after they busted before the break still.

Münster check-called a jack-high flop and check-shoved the turn with {Q-}{J-} for top pair, Pedro Oliveira snap-called with pocket sevens for middle set and that was it for Münster.

Two Double Ups

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Diamond Grabovci moved all in for 23,500 and Jean-Noel Thorel reshoved from the small blind with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Grabovci had the {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and dodged a big sweat on the board {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to double.

One table over, Gudmundur Sigurjonsson with {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Clint Sammut with {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} clashed. Sigurjonsson was the player at risk for 41,500 and the board of {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts} let the kicker play in favor of Sigurjonsson.

Down to 26 Players

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Vyacheslav Stoyanov got the remainder of his stack in with {A-Spades}{2-Spades} and Fahir Han called with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to see the board come {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Chris Ruprecht had survived the bubble as one of the shortest stack and bowed out right after, while Michal Mrakes was left with 8,000 after Alexander Lakhov doubled through him.

The remaining 26 players will now redraw to the last three tables, and play concludes at the end of level 18 or when 11 players remain, whichever of the two comes first.

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Michael Mrakes
Michael Mrakes

Michal Mrakes raised to 6,000 with 500 behind and called all in after the shove of Jean-Noel Thorel. Mrakes showed {J-Clubs}{8-Spades} and doubled against the {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Thorel thanks to a board of {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Mrakes busted soon after, but not before fellow Czech Lukas Klima sent his stack over to Fahir Han.

Klima was all in with the {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Han's {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} rivered a straight on the board {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The Next Three Casualties

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jesper Hansen flopped a pair of eights with {A-}{8-} and Roman Volk turned two pair with {8-}{7-} to send the Dane to the rail. Clint Sammut lost a battle of the short stacks with {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} against the {4-Spades}{2-Clubs} of Nikolay Gavrilov as the board came {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Teunis Kooij busted right after to reduce the field to the last 21.

From 21 to 17 in a Heartbeat

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Ronald Keijzer
Ronald Keijzer

Thorsten Böhringer won a flip with {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} against the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} of Jaromir Hanel after turning quads on the board {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Soon after Böhringer also claimed the stack of Jean-Noel Thorel with {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} versus {A-}{7-} while two all in showdowns took place one table over.

Rui Figueredo was all in for 30,000 with {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} against the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Nikolay Gavrilov and the board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs}. Gavrilov was left with 1,000 and all in for 500 the next hand, in which four players saw the flop of {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Figueredo check-raised all in from the small blind with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Ronald Keijzer, who had bet 17,000 from the hijack, quickly called with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Gavrilov showed {10-Spades}{5-Spades} and the {K-Clubs} turn and {J-Diamonds} river gave Keijzer a full house.
