Yankov Wins a Big One, Kessler Folds the Nuts

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Krasimir Yankov opened the button to 105,000 with {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} and Lukas Zaskodny called from the big blind with {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

The flop was {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Zaskodny check called 180,000. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Zaskodny checked again. Yankov bet 325,000 and Zaskodny called.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and both players checked. Yankov won the hand with a king-high straight.

An interesting side note is that Allen Kessler folded {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. He would have flopped bottom set and then made a flush on the river, so the outcome could have been much different.
