MacDonnell Approaching 2 Million, Eliminates Lampropulos

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Maria Lampropulos
Maria Lampropulos

Marc MacDonnell won two hands in a row. First be shoved the river on Norbert Madaras and then called a Maria Lampropulos shove from the small blind with queens in the big.

Hand #1:
MacDonnell made it 35,000 and Madaras called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {5-Spades} and MacDonnell bet 100,000. Madaras called.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and MacDonnell went all in, putting Madaras at risk. Madaras thought for a while and folded, accidentally exposing the {k-Spades} in the process.

Hand #2:
Lampropulos shoved all in for 275,000 from the small blind and MacDonnell quickly called, showing {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Lampropulos had {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and MacDonnell won the pot, eliminating Lampropulos.
