Kenney's Kings Knock Out Altergott

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Max Altergott
Max Altergott

While Max Altergott ran extremely well early in the tournament, it surely is Bryn Kenney that takes the spotlight as of lately.

Kenney raised to 26,000 from under the gun and Altergott pushed for his last 203,000, which Kenney called as soon as the action was on him.

Max Altergott: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and that was it for Altergott.

Kenney won the next hand out of the big blind when betting the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} river for 61,000 and forcing a fold from initial raiser Dan Shak in under the gun.

Badziakouski Takes Two in a Row

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 26,000 from early position and Ivan Luca folded the {K-Spades} in the big blind. He was shown the {7-Spades} by Badziakouski. One hand later, the Belorussian raised to 26,000 from under the gun and Max Altergott defended the big blind. On the {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Altergott checked and folded to a bet of 25,000 by Badziakouski.

Schemion Doubles Through Luca

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ole Schemion defended his big blind against a raise to 32,000 by Ivan Luca and the duo checked the {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop. Schemion bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 30,000 and Luca called before Schemion's shove for 71,000 on the {Q-Diamonds} river was called by Luca as well.

Schemion turned over {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the big blind special, a flopped straight, and Luca's {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for two pair ended up second best.

Luca Takes on Sontheimer

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Luca limped in from the cutoff and Steffen Sontheimer checked his option in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, Sontheimer check-called a bet of 12,000 before the {10-Spades} turn was checked through. Sontheimer bet the {A-Diamonds} river for 18,000 and Luca gave it some consideration before raising to 55,000.

That proved to be too much for Sontheimer, who sent his cards into the muck.

Ramos Busts; Kenney Doubles

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Felipe Ramos moved all in for 135,000 from the button and Dan Shak reshoved from the small blind to isolate.

Felipe Ramos: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Dan Shak: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The board of {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} left Ramos drawing dead and Shak added "that's the first flip I won."

Only one hand later, Mikita Badziakouski raised to 21,000 and Ole Schemion moved all in. Bryn Kenney called all in for 108,000 and Badziakouski folded.

Bryn Kenney: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Ole Schemion: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Kenney doubled.

Kenney Chops in Unlucky Fashion

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer raised to 20,000 and called the shove of Bryn Kenney for 104,000 in the small blind.

Bryn Kenney: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Steffen Sontheimer: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and the {Q-Diamonds} turn seemingly locked up the double for Kenney, but a cruel {K-Diamonds} on the river gave both players a full house.

Sontheimer grabbed some chips the next hand after raising to 20,000 and picking up a call by Dan Shak in the small blind, who then check-folded the {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop to a continuation bet.

Badziakouski Busts Mateos

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Adrian Mateos Diaz
Adrian Mateos Diaz

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 21,000 and Adrian Mateos pushed for 149,000 out of the big blind, which Badziakouski called after some consideration.

Adrian Mateos: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Mikita Badziakouski: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

While Mateos flopped a ten, he was in need of running outs as the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn was among the helpful cards, but a blank {4-Hearts} on the river sent Mateos to the rail.

Kenney Down to 11 Big Blinds

Level 13 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski raised from the cutoff and Bryn Kenney defended his big blind to check a flop of {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Badziakouski bet 10,000 and Kenney called before check-calling another bet of 32,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn. The {7-Diamonds} appeared on the river and Kenney checked once more. Badziakouski bet 104,000 with 6,000 behind and that ultimately forced a fold from Kenney.
