Kakoishvili Eliminates Kamphues

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The player from the early position raised to 13,000 and Nika Kakoishvili called from mid-position. Timo Kamphues three-bet to 54,000 in the cutoff and action folded back to the initial raiser who also folded. Kakoishvili shoved, Kamphues smiled and sighed at the same time before making the call.

Timo Kamphues: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Nika Kakoishvili: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for Kakoishvili to eliminate Kamphues before the bubble started.

Vagner Doubles on Bubble

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop read {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Lukas Vagner had checked in the late position. Sebastian May put in all his blue 25,000-value chips worth 125,000 in total. Vagner shoved and May called.

Lukas Vagner: {6-Spades}{7-Spades}
Sebastian May: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Vagner had flopped a straight and May held the overpair.

The rest of the board was completed with the {5-Clubs} on the turn to give May a chance to making a full house but the {10-Clubs} came on the river for Vager to double up and leave May behind with 23,000 on the bubble.

Hendriks Bursts the Bubble by Eliminating Viard

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Alexandre Viard
Alexandre Viard

Alexandre Viard raised to 13,000 from mid-position and action folded to Melvin Hendriks in the big blind who three-bet to 30,000. Viard considered his options and decided to shove for 132,000 and Hendriks snap-called.

This was the only hand of the fourth round of hand-for-hand play to go to an all-in situation so they were up immediately once the other tables were done.

Everyone flocked to their table to see what was happening even though the floor would be announcing it all over the microphone.

Alexandre Viard, {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Melvin Hendriks: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for them both to flop a pair of aces. Viard needed a four to stay alive as Hendriks had the bigger kicker.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} which meant Hendriks turned top two pair and Viard was drawing dead.

The river was the {j-Spades} to complete the board as a formality and Viard was sent to the rail or to Day 1H to try his luck in there. The rest of the field all applauded as the floor announced that everyone else was now in the money for at least €802.
