The Main Event of the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe Starts at Noon!

It’s that time of the year, on Saturday, October 27, at noon local time Day 1A of the final bracelet event of 2018 which is Event #10: €10,350 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event will kick off. The first of two starting flights will see players from all over the world come together at the King’s Resort to take their shot at winning the coveted gold WSOP bracelet and Main Event title.

This is the tenth edition of the WSOPE with Annette Obrestad becoming the first ever WSOPE Main Event champion in London. With four editions in London, two in Cannes, one in Paris, one in Berlin, the last edition took place here in Rozvadov with Marti Rocca De Torres victorious and claiming the first-place prize of €1,115,207 after defeating 528 other hopefuls.

Structure

There is a guaranteed prize pool of €5,000,000 that comes with the buy-in of €10,350 and players will receive 100,000 in chips at the start of their day. Levels will last 90 minutes each with a 15-minute break after each level. There are seven levels of play scheduled with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 4.

Players that fail to find a bag at the end of this day can reenter tomorrow, Sunday, October 28, which is Day 1B or on Day 2 before the start of Level 12. Registration will also remain open until then. The tournament will play down until a winner has been found on Friday, November 2.
