Xi Lays Down Kings Before the Break

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Krasimir Yankov opened {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} from the hijack and got calls from Ming Xi {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} in the cutoff and Ryan Riess in yhe big blind {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Riess checked. Yankov continued for 125,000 and Xi was the only caller. The pair checked the {7-Clubs} turn (which would have given Riess trips) and the river was the {10-Spades}. Yankov bet 485,000 and Xi tanked for a while before folding his kings.

Players are now on their first 15-minute break of the day.
