With THE COLOSSUS in full swing, the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe is now fully underway. While that event will play out over the next two days, players in King's Casino in Rozvadov get a second crack at a coveted WSOP bracelet today . At 3 p.m. local time, cards will be in the air for Event #2: €1,650 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Deepstack, the second of ten bracelet events.

Last year, Theodore McQuilkin reigned supreme and stood tall over a 240-player field to win €88,043 as well as his first gold bracelet. The Frenchman defeated a final table that contained the likes of Jan Bednář, Anthony Zinno, Ognjen Šekularac, and Andrej Desset. "It's awesome," McQuilkin said last year after his victory. "I'm not a poker professional at all but I love playing poker. It's a real passion." The Frenchman has been spotted in Rozvadov, where the WSOPE is off to a booming start as the hefty 1M Guarantee in the COLOSSUS has been crushed already.

The €1,650 6-Max comes with a €200,000 guarantee and will be played out over the course of three days. Each player receives 30,000 in chips and Day 1 will feature 14 levels of 40 minutes each before chips are bagged for the night. Late registration will be open for the first twelve levels (~1 a.m.) and a single re-entry is allowed. The winner will be decided on Tuesday, October 16. Like all other bracelet events, PokerNews will be on the floor start-to-finish to cover all the action, so make sure to check back regularly for the latest updates.
