Tsang and Chehade Eliminated

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

Anson Tsang was all in and at risk with {A-}{J-}{6-}{4-} against the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} of Dimitrios Gkatzas and failed to get there on a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Soon after another player was all in and at risk and that happened to be Georges Chehade. His cards were already in the muck and the pot was pushed to Michael Magalashvili, who had hit stop set of aces on a four-diamond board.

Kessler Doubles; Busts Soon After

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Allen Kessler was forced all in from the big blind and Michael Soyza raised from late position to isolate.

Allen Kessler: {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Michael Soyza: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Kessler turned a straight on the board {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} to get up to 13,000.

He was then all in after a multi-way pot emerged. Hael Al Labani limped, Grant Warren raised to 15,000 and Kessler was all in for 13,000 in the small blind. Dor Tal called in the big blind, as did Al Labani. The {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop was checked to Warren, who bet 12,000 and picked up calls from his two remaining opponents.

They checked the {4-Spades} turn and Tal bet the {9-Clubs} river for 41,000. Both Al Labani and Warren folded and Kessler showed {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a missed wrap, which Tal had beat with the {Q-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} for just a pair of queens.

Diaz Doubles Through Lewis

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Guillaume Diaz had all but 6,000 in the middle before the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and then moved all in, which fellow Frenchman Romain Lewis called.

Diaz tabled the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Lewis held {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The {A-Clubs} turn and {9-Diamonds} river brought no suckout and Diaz remained in contention.

Langrock, Rothaermel and Garcia Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Martin Rothaermel
Martin Rothaermel

After losing a big pot to Alfredo Vega Meister on the money bubble, Martin Rothaermel dropped well below the average and soon after joined Sebastian Langrock on the rail.

Cord Garcia raised to 15,000 and was called by Rothaermel in the small blind and Sebastian Obermeier in the big blind.

"If they check, I will shove," Garcia said but instead it was Rothaermel that pushed all in for 44,400 on the {Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. Obermeier reluctantly called and Garcia folded.

Martin Rothaermel: {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Sebastian Obermeier: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {8-Hearts} turn gave Rothaermel a ton of outs, but the {8-Spades} river was of no help to reduce the Day 1A field to the last 30. Garcia was left with 23,000 and departed soon after.

There were two all in and call on separate tables and the first one to run was between Oleh Sushko and Peter Slustik, who were both short-stacked.

Oleh Sushko: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Peter Slustik: {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The board came {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Slustik hit two pair.

Cord Garcia was all in for 19,000 against Grant Hart and needed some help from the deck.

Cord Garcia: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Grant Hart: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

"I gonna win with this," Garcia said and pointed to his diamonds. The board came {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Garcia found the double with a full house, while Sushko became the bubble boy.

Daniel Rezaei
Daniel Rezaei

Daniel Rezaei ended up all in and at risk with his short stack and Stanislav Parkhomenko looked him up.

Daniel Rezaei: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Stanislav Parkhomenko: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Spades} flop gave Rezaei a straight and flush draw, but the {6-Clubs} turn and {8-Diamonds} river were both blanks. With 36 players remaining, the tournament will now switch to hand-for-hand mode on the money bubble.
