Aaron Duczak
Aaron Duczak

Michael Magalashvili raised to 3,200 and picked up three callers including Dimitrios Gkatzas and Fabian Baldelli, Dario Alioto then reraised to 20,000 from the big blind. Baldelli called all in for less to create the following showdown:

Fabian Baldelli: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Dario Alioto: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The board came {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{K-Spades} and Baldelli busted once more.

Shortly after, a multi-way flop of {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} emerged and Alioto called a bet of 3,500. Aaron Duczak on the button squeezed tio 17,200 and Alioto called his all in.

Aaron Duczak: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Dario Alioto: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{X-}

The {9-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river brought no upset and Duczak doubled.

Third Break of the Day

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

According to the screens there are 81 players out of 207 entries remaining and they have been sent into a 15-minute break. It appears that Nayef Muhtaseb is the current chip leader with almost ten times the starting stack.

Rezaei Busts Duczak

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Aaron Duczak was all in for 6,000 and picked up two callers in Danny Covyn in the big blind and initial raiser Daniel Rezaei. The remaining two active players got their stacks in after the {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} turn and the following cards were tabled.

Aaron Duczak: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{X-}
Daniel Rezaei: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Danny Covyn: {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds} on the river gave Rezaei a full house and Covyn was left with very few chips, while Duczak joined a growing list of recent casualties.

Madsen Busts for Now

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Xixiang Luo and Aaron Duczak just re-entered and Jeff Madsen will likely do so soon after he was just eliminated. Alfredo Vega Meister limped in from the button and Daniel Rezaei raised the pot to 3,000 in the small blind. Madsen got his 5,000 and change in from the big blind and was called two ways.

Rezaei and Vega Meister checked down the board {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Rezaei announced ace-jack, then turned over {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Madsen had already left his seat while Vega Meister showed his {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and Madsen's {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} were revealed by the dealer.
