Konopelko Doubles Through Smiljkovic

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Daniel Smiljkovic raised to 60,000 from early position and was called by Amar Begovic on the button. Andrei Konopelko three-bet to 225,000 from the big blind and only Smiljkovic called.

The flop came {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, Konopelko continued with a bet of 200,000 which Smiljkovic called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, now Konopelko checked. Smiljkovic considered his options and decided to shove, having Konopelko covered. Konopelko snap-called with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} while Smiljkovic held {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} for Konopelko to hold and double up thanks to the aces in his hand.
