Teoh Runs Out of Blinds

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Paul Teoh was one of the shortest stacks left in the room coming back from dinner break, and the blinds were quickly sneaking up on him. With about 120,000 remaining, Teoh shipped all in from under the gun and Florin Rusu also pushed all in from middle position.

Florin Rusu: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Paul Teoh: {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} provided no help for Teoh who would need runner-runner to stay alive. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn gave a small sweat but the {9-Spades} on the river sent Teoh to the payout desk.

Kastle Closed for Today

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Casey Kastle was all-in from the big blind and at risk as he was called by Henrik Brockmann in the early position.

Casey Kastle: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Henrik Brockmann: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} for Brockmann to hit the jack on the flop to eliminate Kastle.

While Brockmann pulled the pot in, he also pulled in the 16,000 big blind Oleg Netaliev had put in for the next hand. Netaliev pointed it out but Brockmann didn't agree with it. The dealer said the same and Brockmann tried giving some 1,000-value chips back but Netaliev reached for the 5,000-value chips. Brockmann pushed his hand away and said something to him. The dealer indicated again that Netaliev had indeed put the big blind for the next hand out already and Brockmann reluctantly gave the 16,000 back to Netaliev. Netaliev mumbled something.

"What did you say?! Nice try?!" Brockmann said angrily.

Netaliev just nodded and Brockmann said some more words under his breath.

Ulrich Over Tsang

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The board read {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Anson Tsang checked his small blind. Sebastian Ulrich bet 85,000 from the big blind, Tsang raised to 230,000 and Ulrich called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Diamonds} and both players checked. Tsang tabled {10-Clubs}{6-Spades} for the flopped pair of sixes and Ulrich seemed confused. He looked at his cards again and then turned around {j-Spades}{2-Clubs} for the turned pair of jacks.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

It was just the two blinds remaining in the hand with around 120,000 in the middle and the flop reading {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Timur Margolin checked from the small blind and Petr Svoboda pushed in a bet of 350,000 from the big blind. Margolin thought for a minute and then moved all in for 520,000 which was quickly called by Svoboda.

Timur Margolin: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Petr Svoboda: {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds} giving Margolin two pair and Svoboda was still looking for one more heart. The river was the {6-Clubs} and Margolin held on to double up to over 1,000,000 chips.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Asher Assis raised it up from middle position and Fahredin Mustafov stuck in his last 110,000 chips from the small blind. The action was back on Assis who instantly tossed in a single chip to signify a call.

The board read {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades} with Yang Zhang all-in for 144,000 from the mid-position and called by Ahmed Abdella in the small blind and Michal Mrakes in the late position.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} and Abdella checked for the last time. Mrakes counted out some chips and put 450,000 over the line for the bet. Abdella tanked and tanked, and then decided to fold. Mrakes tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} to scoop the side-pot but Zhang tripled up as he held {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for the rivered flush.
