Mrakes Stacking Chips

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Petr Svoboda opened to 17,000 in early position and was called by Michal Mrakes in the hijack and Romain Lewis in the small blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and the action checked to Mrakes who bet 20,000. Romain Lewis called while Svoboda quickly folded.

The turn brought the {4-Diamonds} and Lewis checked again. Mrakes fired another 45,000 and Lewis check-raised to 115,000 this time. Mrakes still called and the {9-Spades} completed the board. Lewis thought for over a minute and seemed as though he gave up on the hand with another check. Mrakes checked back and Lewis turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Mrakes showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush and moved into the chip lead with this latest pot.
