Chris Ferguson Eliminated in 22nd Place (€3,518)

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson

Chris Ferguson opened the action with a raise to 20,000 from middle position and he was called by both Anson Tsang from the cutoff and Daniel Rezaei from the button.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Ferguson continued with a bet of 70,000, just below the size of the pot. Tsang called, but Rezaei sent his cards to the muck.

The turn card was the {A-Diamonds} and Ferguson moved all in for his last twenty big blinds. Tsang called and they opened up their hands.

Ferguson was playing {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Tsang was holding {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The river card was the {3-Hearts} and that meant that Ferguson was eliminated from the tournament. Ferguson got 29th in this event last year and he was able to better that score by finishing 22nd for €3,518.

Eemil Tuominen Eliminated in 23rd Place (€3,518)

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Eemil Tuominen
Eemil Tuominen

A short-stacked Eemil Tuominen was all in and at risk from under the gun and Ryan Riess looked him up out of the big blind.

Eemil Tuominen: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Ryan Riess: {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Tuominen made top set, he said "good flop."

That all but changed with the {10-Diamonds} turn, which prompted the Finn to add a rather dry "bad turn," and he failed to regain the lead on a blank {9-Clubs} river to bow out in 23rd place for €3,518.

Ilya Bulychev raised to 20,000 from late position and small blind Gisle Olsen called. Big blind Alexander Norden moved all in for 41,000 and Bulychev four-bet to 90,000. Olsen folded and they opened up.

Ilya Bulychev: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Alexander Norden: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Michal Schuh Eliminated in 24th Place (€3,518)

Michal Schuh

Shaun Deeb had arrived back in his seat on a short break from the feature table and raised the pot. Michal Schuh jammed for 80,000 from one seat over and Deeb called.

Michal Schuh: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The flop came {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Deeb made two pair. He turned that into a full house with the {7-Spades} and the {9-Diamonds} river was a blank to eliminate Schuh in 24th place for €3,518.

"Alright guys, see you later," Deeb joked and ran back up the stairs to the feature table.

Johansson Eliminated by Zhou

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Anton Johansson
Anton Johansson

Anton Johansson raised to 28,000 from late position and one seat over Quan Zhou called the bet. The other players all folded and they went heads-up to the flop.

The flop was dealt {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Johansson moved all in for his last 56,000. Zhou laughed a bit, then shook his head, but he did end up calling.

Anton Johansson: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Quan Zhou: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The turn was the {A-Hearts} and the river was the {3-Hearts} and that meant that Johansson was eliminated from the tournament.

Cieslik Makes a Good Call

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

The three-way flop showed {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Hokyiu Lee checked in the small blind, as did Roman Cieslik in the big blind. Michal Schuh moved all in and Lee tank-folded. Cieslik had 25,000 left and asked for the size of the pot, which was 84,000. After more consideration, Cieslik called it off.

Roman Cieslik: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Michal Schuh: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}

The {2-Clubs} turn was a sweat, but the {J-Hearts} river bricked off to let Cieslik double. Schuh was left with very few big blinds, but flopped a six-high straight against Lee soon after to remain in contention.

Shuts and Lyubovetskiy Eliminated

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Andriy Lyubovetskiy
Andriy Lyubovetskiy

Maksim Shuts flopped a pair and back door diamond draw against Ilya Bulychev on a baord of {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but the Russian prevailed with a flopped set of eights as Shuts only made two pair, tens and nines.

Next to go was Andriy Lyubovetskiy, who was ousted by Daniel Rezaei.

Lyubovetskiy bet the pot for 58,000 on the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and shoved the {5-Diamonds} turn for around 70,000, Rezaei called.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Daniel Rezaei: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds} river gave Rezaei a winning flush and Lyubovetskiy left with some swear words in his native language.
