Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo just limped on the button with {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Christian Rudolph checked his option holding {4-Spades}{2-Spades}. The flop fell {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to give Addamo an open-ended straight draw and Rudolph a completed straight.

Addamo led out for 4,000,000 and Rudolph raised to 11,500,000. Addamo called to see the {5-Clubs} pair the board on the turn. Rudolph checked again but Addamo opted to check it back.

The {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river giving Addamo the nut straight. Rudolph shoved all in and Addamo snap-called for his remaining 44,800,000. Addamo scored a double up with both players making a straight and Rudolph was down to just 13,500,000.

Addamo Closes the Gap

Level 30 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

With over 11,000,000 chips already in the pot, the board read {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Michael Addamo led out for 2,800,000 with {5-Spades}{3-Spades} and Christian Rudolph called with {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

The river brought the {6-Spades} which might have killed some of the action but Addamo fired out another bet of 12,500,000. Rudolph slid his cards to the muck in frustration and Addamo raked in the pot.

Rudolph Runs a Triple Barrel

Level 30 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Michael Addamo just called on the button with {6-Spades}{3-Spades} and Christian Rudolph checked a dominating {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} in the big blind. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to give both players an open-ended straight draw.

Rudolph checked to Addamo who bet 3,600,000 only to have Rudolph check-raise to 9,900,000. Addamo called in position and the {10-Diamonds} hit the turn. Rudolph continued with another bet of 9,900,000 but Addamo stuck around to see the {2-Diamonds} on the river.

Rudolph moved all in for a little over 50,000,000 with just seven-high and Addamo was forced to let his hand go after making a straight.

Benjamin Pollak
Benjamin Pollak

Michael Addamo called on the button, Benjamin Pollak shoved in the small blind for 24,400,000, Addamo snap-called.

Benjamin Pollak: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Michael Addamo: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for Addamo to hold on to the lead.

The turn gave them the {6-Spades} for Addamo to improve to the full house but now Pollak picked up a chance to split the pot.

The river was the {5-Spades} which didn't change the situation as Pollak was eliminated in third place for €370,219. Pollak finished in 2nd place last year for €460,622 so seems to do pretty well in the High Rollers here in Rozvadov.

The flop fell {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to give Addamo a straight draw to go along with his one live card. The turn was the {6-Clubs} which changed nothing and the river brought the {j-Clubs}. Rudolph improved to a pair of jacks and scored a double up of his own.
