Mateos Takes One Down

Level 8 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Peters raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and big blind Adrian Mateos defended.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {Q-Hearts} turn. Mateos bet out as he pushed 135,000 over the line. Peters called and the {4-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Mateos fired another bet. He put in 250,000 this time and that was a bit too much for Peters who gave up and folded.
