Adams Pushes Even Further Ahead

Level 11 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Sergio Aido opened to 165,000 and Timothy Adams called in the hijack. Mikita Badziakouski was in the cutoff and three-bet to 525,000. Aido folded and Adams called.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Adams checked. Badziakouski bet 400,000 and after a long tank Adams called.

The pace on the turn was even more glacial, as both players checked the {10-Hearts}. The river was the {8-Spades}. Adams checked and Badziakouski tanked before betting 1,800,000.

Adams instantly called, in stark contrast to the rest of the hand. Badziakouski showed {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a missed flush and straight draw but was already mucking it as Adams showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for top pair.
