Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 180,000 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

After falling to the short stack, it didn't take much for the rest of Alex Livingston's chips to get in the middle. He was heads-up against Besim Hot on fifth street when all of the cards were turned over.

Hot flipped over {10-}{7-}{8-}{6-} / {9-}{9-}{q-} for a ten-high straight while Livingston made a set of aces on sixth street. Livingston had one more chance to improve to a full house but was unable to do so, becoming the first player eliminated at the final table.

Miracle Escape for Martini

Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 180,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Julien Martini: {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}
Besim Hot: {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} / {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}

Julien Martini was all in on third street against Besim Hot and paired his four on fifth, while Hot had a flush draw on sixth. Martini peeled the {a-Hearts} and remained with a pair of fours, however, Hot missed it all with the {6-Clubs} as final card and they chopped as Hot had a low.

Julien Martini: {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} / {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {x-}
Alex Livingston: {x-}{x-} / {q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts} fold
Daniel Negreanu: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {x-}

Martini was then all in for 505,000 after completing and a raise by Alex Livingston and a call by Daniel Negreanu. On fourth, Livingston and Negreanu checked and Negreanu bet fifth to force out Livingston. Martini had a made straight but Negreanu had two pair and a straight flush draw.

A blank {k-Diamonds} for Martini was revealed first and Negreanu somehow missed everything with the {2-Clubs}.

He recorded with his phone and said "three pair don't beat a straight."

Martini on Crumbs

Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 180,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

Alex Livingston raised it up in the hijack and Julien Martini three-bet from the small blind. Livingston called and the flop came {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Martini led out with a bet and Livingston raised. Martini had just under 400,000 chips remaining and went deep into the tank, having already committed the majority of his stack.

"I had the best hand preflop," Martini stated. "You have an ace?"

Livingston just shrugged his shoulders. "I could have a flush draw. You have pocket threes?"

Eventually, Martini let his hand go and Livingston raked in the pot.

Glaser Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 180,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Benny Glaser opened to 420,000 from under the gun after the first few hands after the break had provided no action. He was called by Besim Hot in the small blind and Phil Hellmuth in the big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and action checked to Glaser, who bet 950,000.

Hot folded and Hellmuth was sent into the think tank.

"That's a pot-sized bet?" Hellmuth asked the dealer and riffled his chips for half a minute.

He then added "I fell like you have it," and Glaser replied with a few words, which resulted in the fold of Hellmuth.

Daniel Negreanu was putting Hellmuth on pocket queens in the hand.
