Ralbovsky Thumbles Down

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

In the first of two hands, Stefan Doetsch was found all-in for a total stack around 13,000 with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and was facing Peter Ralbovsky who held {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The board brought nothing to Ralbovsky who was left with around 10,000 chips after that hand.

The hand after, Helmut Hoflehner completed his small blind and Ralbovsky shoved, snap-called all-in by Hoflehner with a smaller stack.

Hoflehner tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Ralbovsky showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. The flop fell {j-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, giving the straight to Hoflehner, who double up on Ralbovsky after the {7-Hearts} and the {9-Clubs} completed the board.

Kfir Tubi raised to 2,200 and Ondrej Lon called on the button, followed by Filip Sochor in the small blind.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Tubi continued for 4,000, called by Lon while Sochor check-folded. The {5-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and brought no betting action.

A {10-Hearts} fell on the river and Tubi bet 4,500, called by Lon. Tubi tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for king-high and LOn took down the pot with {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes.

Shmuel Nakash: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Klaus Haben: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Nakash was in desperate shape to win the pot but the flop appeared {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}, giving him the set of queens. The rest of th board was completed by a {j-Diamonds} and a {j-Clubs} and Nakash doubled up with the full house. "I feel sorry for him, but happy for me" said Nakash.
