Ljubas Can't Recover

Level 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

The flop read {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} with around 12,000 in the middle.

Roberto Benedetti checked in the big blind and Renato Ljubas shoved for 48,500 from the cutoff. Benedetti snap-called and immediately got up from his chair.

Roberto Benedetti: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Renato Ljubas: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Benedetti held aces again and lost almost half of his stack previously to Ljubas at the beginning of the day.

The rest of the board was completed with the {7-Spades} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river for Benedetti to hold and double up for the 45,700 he had called for.

The hand right after, Guy Holtzman raised to 1,200 from the middle position and Ljubas put his last 2,800 in from the hijack. Action folded back to Holtzman who made the call.

Renato Ljubas: {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Guy Holtzman: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for Ljubas to hit a flush on the turn to double up but soon after he lost all his chips.
