Ha Over Yong

Level 7 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu limped from first to act along with Richard Yong in the hijack and Thai Hai on the cutoff. Phil Ivey checked from the button.

The flop fell {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Negreanu checked. Yong bet 50,000 and Ha called but Ivey and Negreanu folded.

The turn came the {k-Diamonds} and Yong continued with a bet of 115,000 that Ha called once more.

The river brought the {7-Hearts} and both players checked. Yong tabled {j-Spades}{9-Hearts} for two pair but that wasn't good enough as Ha turned over {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a better two pair to win the pot.

Three Flush Draws Collide

Level 6 : 0/0, 6,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

On a flop of {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, the stacks of Anson Tsang, Renato Nowak and Jan-Peter Jachtmann went into the middle with Tsang as the shortest stack of around 200,000.

Anson Tsang: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Renato Nowak: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {8-Spades} on the turn changed nothing yet but the {9-Hearts} river gave Jachtmann the nut flush and he doubled through Nowak for 742,000, while Tsang ran out of his second bullet and will certainly be back at some point.

Nowak Takes From Burns

Level 6 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

There was a pot of around 205,000 in the middle and the flop was reading {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} when Kahle Burns checked in first to act. Anson Tsang bet 100,000 from the cutoff and Renato Nowak called from the button. Kahle Burns check-raised all in for 300,000 and Tsang folded but Burns made the call.

Kahle Burns: {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Renato Nowak: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Burns had an open-ended straight but Nowak had queens and sevens. The turn brought the {q-Hearts} improving Nowak's hand to queens full of sevens and the {10-Diamonds} river completed the board for him to rake in the pot, while Burns used his add-on.

Anthony Zinno: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
