Phua Folds to Amedi's Raise

Level 13 : 0/0, 30,000 ante

Paul Phua completed from second to act along with Netanel Amedi in middle position, Dario Sammartino in the hijack, and Richard Yong on the cutoff. Thomer Pidun checked from the button.

A flop of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades} was dealt and Phua bet 225,000. Amedi raised to 1,000,000 and action folded back to Phua who thought for a long while, using of his time bank cards, but then opted to let it go.

On a {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} turn, Sam Grafton checked in the cutoff and Phil Ivey bet 800,000 on the button, which Grafton called. The {9-Spades} on the river was checked by Grafton and he folded to a shove by Ivey.

One hand later, Grafton jammed for around 2 million and Ivey moved all in over the top.

Sam Grafton: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Phil Ivey: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop immediately left Grafton drawing dead, the {9-Diamonds} turn and {q-Spades} river were a formality.

"This is a whole new game," Cary Katz said as the rebuy period was over and a multi-way limped pot led to the {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop. Action at his table checked to Thai Ha who bet 200,000 and Chin Wei Lim moved all in, which Ha called instantly.

Chin Wei Lim: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Thai Ha: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {q-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river brought no help to Lim and he departed.
