Level 16 : 0/0, 60,000 ante
Richard Yong
Richard Yong

Richard Yong moved all in from the cutoff for 1,970,000 and Jonathan Depa called from the button.

Richard Yong: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Jonathan Depa: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Yong hit a pretty good flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} but the turn brought the {j-Diamonds} giving Depa a set of jacks and the {a-Spades} river filled up the board for Depa to win the pot and eliminate Yong.

Kahle Burns
Kahle Burns

There are just 19 players remaining after an elimination on the feature table and another on the outer tables.

It was Kahle Burns that lost the remainder of his short stack against Hans Thumann when his {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} failed to hold up versus {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} on a {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs} board.

Hot Gets Paid by Depa

Level 16 : 0/0, 60,000 ante

The flop was reading {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades} when Jonathan Depa checked from the hijack along with Besim Hot on the cutoff and Thai Ha on the button.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and Depa checked once more but Hot threw in a bet of 900,000. Ha folded but Depa check-called.

The {q-Clubs} completed the board and Depa checked for a third time. Hot fired 2,000,000 and Depa went deep into the tank then called. Hot turned over {a-Spades}{7-Spades} for aces full of queens and Depa tossed his cards in the muck.

Tony G Eliminated

Level 16 : 0/0, 60,000 ante
Tony G
Tony G

Over on the feature table, the "captain of the rebuy" Tony G was all in against Orpen Kisacikoglu as one of the shorter stacks remaining.

Tony G: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Orpen Kisacikoglu: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop gave Tony G a pair, but Kisacikoglu had a huge draw. He instantly got there on the {9-Clubs} turn to leave Tony G drawing dead, the {8-Diamonds} river was a mere formality.

Level 16 : 0/0, 60,000 ante

Massimiliano Zanasi opened to 300,000 and Rob Yong called in the cutoff to see a flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Zanasi moved all in for 740,000 and Yong called.

Massimiliano Zanasi: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Rob Yong: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The board completed with the {6-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} to let the Italian more than double thanks to the antes and button double ante.

Yong Building

Level 16 : 0/0, 60,000 ante

Kahle Burns limped from second to act along with Massimiliano Zanasi in the hijack. Rob Yong checked his option.

Players saw a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} that was checked through to the {j-Spades} turn. Burns and Zanasi checked once more but Yong fired 275,000. Burns took a few seconds of reflection, then called, and Zanasi snap-folded.

The {6-Spades} filled up the river and both players opted to check. Burns turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens but that wasn't good enough as Yong revealed {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a straight to win the pot.
