Big Double for Speranza

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Gianluca Speranza
Gianluca Speranza

In a preflop raising war, Netanel Amedi got his stack in against table neighbor Gianluca Speranza for more than the starting stack and the 2017 WSOPE Main Event runner-up snap-called for a very specific reason.

Netanel Amedi: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Gianluca Speranza: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board came {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Speranza doubled to leave Amedi on crumbs, who then inquired with the floor about the re-entry option.

With 29,000 in the middle and the turn showing {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Jans Arends checked in the big blind and called a bet of 9,200 by Claas Segebrecht in the hijack to see the {4-Hearts} river. Both checked and Arends tabled {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for sevens and fours, Segebrecht had the winning hand with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for nines and fours.

Deeb Takes from Rivas

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Shaun Deeb raised to 2,500 and called a three-bet from Jose Rivas in the cutoff worth 8,500.

The dealer fanned a flop {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Deeb check-called Rivas for 11,500. Both checked on the {7-Diamonds} turn.

A {3-Diamonds} fell on the river and Deeb decided to send just one chip of 1,000 in the middle. Rivas tanked for some time and called, but mucked when Deeb showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Martini Doubles Through Muratoglu; Loses to Salloum

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the river of a board {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} with 46,500 in the middle, Julien Martini pushed for around 39,000 and Armand Muratoglu reluctantly called.

Martini showed the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Muratoglu tapped the table, exposing his {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Right after, Charbel Salloum raised to 2,000 and Martini three-bet to 6,500, which Salloum called. They checked the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and Salloum bet the {j-Clubs} turn for 3,600, Martini called. After the {j-Hearts} river, Salloum bet 7,000 and called a raise to 28,500 by Martini instantly.

Martini flashed with appeared to be {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Salloum had a full house with the {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Berman Takes One from Imrich

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Andrej Imrich raised in the hijack to 2,500 and Mark Berman opted for a three-bet for 11,000 in the small blind. After some thinking, Imrich called.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Imrich called Berman's continuation for 10,500.

The turn {6-Clubs} and river {q-Clubs} brought no betting action and Berman showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} to claim the flop while Imrich mucked his cards.
