Hatipoglu Finds Trips

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Bahadir Hatipoglu raised in the cutoff to 1,500 and called Vladimir Stejskal's three-bet on the button for 6,600.

The flop revealed {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and things quickly heated as Hatipoglu check-raised to 30,000 Stejskal's continuation bet of 10,000. Stejskal looked at Hatipoglu stack, who had 46,000 chips left, and announced all-in. Hatipoglu snap-called to create the following showdown:

Bahadir Hatipoglu: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}
Vladimir Stejskal: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Stejskal found no help on the {10-Spades} turn and {a-Hearts} river and Hatipoglu doubled up with trips.

Hui Loses Some to Kalmaz

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Raz Alon raised to 1,300 and Phil Hui three-bet to 5,300 in the small blind, which Aslan Kalmaz in the big blind called, Alon folded. Hui bet the {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop for 3,000 and was called, he then fired the {7-Hearts} turn for 13,000 and picked up another call.

They checked the {k-Spades} river and Hui briefly showed his cards but ended up second-best to Kalmaz's {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Schemion Adds to his Stack

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 1,500 in middle position and Dinesh Alt called in the small blind along with Dominik Nitsche in the big blind, with 11,000 chips left.

The dealer fanned a flop {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Schemion continued for 3,500 after it was checked to him. Only Alt called.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Schemion sent a second barrel for 10,000. Alt folded.

Nitsche busted a few minutes later.

Foxen Applies Pressure

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Andrej Desset can't get much going on his first entry as his stack has been decimated once more. Alex Foxen had arrived at his table not long ago and quickly built a decent profit. It was also Foxen that took more chips off Desset when the latter bet the {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 3,700. Foxen simply piled in a lot of T-5,000 chips and Desset folded.

Small Pot for Rozenbaum

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a battle small blind versus button, Takehiko Nakajima bet the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} flop for 2,200, the {7-Clubs} turn for 3,000 and the {4-Hearts} river for 5,000. Shay Rozenbaum called all the way and was good as Nakajima tabled {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a busted open-ender, which Rozenbaum had beat with the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Chen Misses Draw; Wins Anyways

Level 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Picking up the action on the {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} turn, James Chen in the big blind checked and called a bet of 7,000 by Vlada Stojanovic on the button. The {j-Diamonds} river paired the board and they checked it down. Stojanovic had the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a bluff and Chen won the pot with {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the superior kicker.
