Tsouloftas Gives Chips Back

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Timo Kamphues raised to 50,000 and was only called by the newly doubled-up Georgios Tsouloftas. Kamphues check-called his opponent's 40,000 bet on the {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop.

The {k-Clubs} turn was checked-through to the {4-Hearts} river. Kamphues checked before Tsouloftas bet 150,000. Kamphues called and beat his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} with his {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Good Flop, Good River for Pichierri

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Thomer Pidun opened to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by Alessandro Pichierri in middle position. The two players went heads-up to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Pidun continued with a bet of 50,000 and Pichierri just called.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Spades} on the river. Pidun fired out a bet of 200,000 and Pichierri quickly called. "Just call," he said as he dropped his chips in. Pidun showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} but it was no good against the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} of Pichierri.

Tsouloftas Doubles Up

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Georgios Tsouloftas moved all-in for 230,000 from the hijack and Claudio Di Giacomo called from the big blind.

Georgios Tsouloftas: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Tsouloftas was in good shape on the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop however the {j-Diamonds} turn added some straight outs for his opponent. The {4-Clubs} was a brick and the short stack doubled up.

Maria Teixeira Eliminated in 10th Place (€9,408)

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Maria Teixeira
Maria Teixeira

Maria Teixeira shoved all in for 400,000 from under the gun and was called by Timo Kamphues a couple of seats over. Romain [Removed:338] re-shoved all in for just over 1,000,000 and it folded back to Kamphues who had a tough decision but decided to fold.

Maria Teixeira: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Romain [Removed:338]: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Kamphues groaned as he would have flopped a set of jacks. As it was, [Removed:338] held a big advantage with his pocket kings. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river was not enough for Teixeira who was eliminated in 10th place.

Toni Kaukua had the all-in triangle out in front of him and he was off to race against Thomer Pidun for his tournament life.

Toni Kaukua: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Thomer Pidun: {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Pidun would seal the elimination which marked the formation of the unofficial final table after the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} runout.

Matteo Calzoni four-bet jammed his 750,000 stack in early position after being in a raising war with Alessandro Pichierri in the big blind.

Matteo Calzoni: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Alessandro Pichierri: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Calzoni would need running clubs to survive after the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop but the {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} runout confirmed his elimination.

Rafael Rafi Eliminated in 14th Place (€7,187); Stefan Aerts Eliminated in 13th Place (€8,089)

Stefan Aerts: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Thomer Pidun: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Aerts was eliminated in 12th place.
