Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Danny Covyn
Danny Covyn

Another table broke as the field was reduced to the last 48 contenders and no longer in the mix is Danny Covyn. The Belgian was among the biggest stacks not long ago but lost it all. Martin Kabrhel and Saulius Tumosa appeared to have benefited the most as they headed to their new tables with far more chips.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Two short stacks were all-in in four-way action and that included Denys Fedorenko and Patrick Pfeiffer. Fedorenko revealed the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for trips fours but Pfeiffer had that beat with the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for aces full.

Dorel Eldabach had the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} on the button and the small blind tabled the {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Covyn Chips Up

Level 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Danny Covyn rushed back from the buffet just in time to get dealt into one of the first hands after the break and clashed with Saulius Tumosa. In a pot of more than 100,000, Tumosa check-called the {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades} river for 30,000. Covyn tabled the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and that won the pot.
