Ciro Perna Eliminated in 6th Place (€56,654 + €10,350 WSOPE Main Event Ticket)

Level 37 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Ciro Perna

Ciro Perna raised to 2,500,000 from the cutoff with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Rolf van Brug called on the button while holding the {a-Spades}{6-Spades} while the rest folded.

The flop came {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for Perna to stay ahead. Perna continued with a bet of 2,700,000 for Van Brug to make the call.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} for Van Brug to pair up with. Perna quickly checked and Van Brug did the same.

The river completed the board with the {2-Hearts} and Perna shoved for 17,700,000. Van Brug asked for a count and the dealer confirmed the amount.

Van Brug counted his own stack, tanked for a while, and then decided to make the right call to bust Perna in sixth place to grab the chip lead.
