Double Knockout for Davul

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Vehbi Davul
Vehbi Davul

Ian Bradley was all-in for 62,000 before the flop and earned no fewer than five callers to see the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, which was checked to Vehbi Davul. He bet the pot and that forced folds from Dorel Eldabach, among others.

Jules Ayoub in the small blind check-called all-in for 32,000 and Shlomo Angel tanked out of the big blind. The clock was called on him and he then folded, [Removed:308] also let go.

Ian Bradley: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Jules Ayoub: {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Vehbi Davul: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Ayoub got there on the {9-Spades} turn but the {j-Clubs} river paired the board to send two players to the rail.

Jachtmann Bluffs Bujtas

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Laszlo Bujtas bet the {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Clubs} turn for 12,000 and Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 41,000, which Bujtas called. On the {q-Diamonds} river, Bujtas checked and Jachtmann bet the pot to force a fold. Once the cards of the Hungarian were in the muck, Jachtmann flashed a queen-high bluff.

Quirin Zech

In a three-way three-bet pot to the {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Quirin Zech got it in for 69,500 and Matthias Wieser folded while Laszlo Bujtas called.

Quirin Zech: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Laszlo Bujtas: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river kept the superior pair in the lead as Zech doubled with treys full of aces.

Gsuck Doubles Through Eldabach

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The cards of Dorel Eldabach were already in the muck as [Removed:308] celebrated her double up. She had made aces full with {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades} on the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board as Eldabach's jack-high flush draw got there when the chips went in but the board paired up.

"Unluckiest Poker Player Alive" Loses to Runner-Runner

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

"My wife is always reading PokerNews and she says I am the unluckiest poker player", Simon Taberham joked. The Brit had just flopped a set with the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and turned a full house. However, the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Tom-Aksel Bedell rivered a third five on the board to improve to an unlikely superior full house in the first active hand after his re-entry.

Pärssinen Chips Up For Now

Level 8 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With some 55,000 in the middle to the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Eelis Pärssinen in the big blind opted to check and so did Ahmad Achegsei in the cutoff. The {2-Hearts} turn then brought a bet worth 12,500 by Pärssinen, who kept around 40,000 behind. Achegsei folded and the pot was sent to Pärssinen.

Jules Ayoub walked out of the tournament area and mentioned that he lost his "first double suited" combo. He had more than the average not long ago but the final hand saw him with just 70,000 before the departure. However, it seems likely that he will jump in again.
