Like Day 1a, levels will last 90 minutes and Day 1b will wrap up after 7 levels of play. Blinds begin at 100-300 with a 300 big blind ante, players have the right for a single re-entry and late registration remains open into Day 2 on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Jan Streicher opened to 1,000 in the cutoff and Tayfun Ozlu re-raised to 3,500 from the big blind. Streicher called and the dealer fanned the flop of {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

Ozlu continued with a bet of 3,500 and Streicher called to see the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked and the {8-Clubs} paired the board on the river.

Ozlu checked again and Streicher fired out a bet of 11,500. Ozlu went into the tank for a couple of minutes and finally asked a question.

"Do you want a call?"

"Yes," Streicher replied. Ozlu complied and made the call. Streicher showed {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for complete air while Ozlu held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for ace-high to win the pot.

Sandro Pizzanti

With around 12,000 in the middle and the board reading {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades}, the action checked to Marco Slacanac on the button who bet 10,000. Or Hadad called from the blinds and Sandro Pitzanti also came along.

The river brought the {j-Diamonds} and Hadad and Pitzanti checked again. Slacanac opted to check this time as well and Pitzanti slammed his {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} face up on the table for a full house. The others mucked their cards and Pitzanti raked in the pot.

"Why don't you bet for me?" Pitzanti asked Slacanac as he laughed.

The pot had already 26,000 in it and the board was {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Christoph Vogelsang bet 20,000 and Christian Schulz made the call.

The river was the {3-Hearts} and Vogelsang fired a 57,000 bet.

Schulz felt compelled to make the call and he did but his {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a set of sevens was not good, as Vogelsang had a straight with {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Level 5 : 400/800, 800 ante
Pim Kuipers
Pim Kuipers

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and there was only 9,000 in the pot.

However, after a bet from Kuipers and a raise from Malakoti they ended up all-in on the flop whith Malakoti having Kuipers covered.

Kuipers, although at risk was way ahead with his {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the nut straight, he also had a flush draw to diamonds to go with it.
Malakoti had {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for top pair, drawing very thin.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} giving, few outs to Malakoti, who needed an ace or a seven to make a full house, but the {2-Spades} sealed the deal for Kuipers who won this massive pot.
