376 Players Return for WSOPE Main Event Day 2; Late Registration Still Open
Welcome back to continued PokerNews coverage of the 2021 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event from King's Resort, Czech Republic.
So far over the two starting flights, the tournament has attracted 581 entries, with 376 players advancing to Day 2. Each Day 1 saw seven levels of play, and with late registration and single re-entry open until the end of Level 12, expect the field to grow even further.
The Day 2 chip leader is Daniel Rezaei who bagged the Day 1a chip lead and is the only palyer with over 600,000 in chips.
Three other players bagged over 500,000 including bracelet-winner Ole Schemion, along with Mario Colavita and Day 1b chip leader Moncef Karoui. Karoui is the only player from Day 1b who has a top-10 stack heading into Day 2.
