Diaz Wins Some; Loses it After

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Guillaume Diaz
Guillaume Diaz

Josef Gulas Jr raised to 215,000 and was called by Johan Guilbert in the cutoff. Guillaume Diaz then three-bet to 1,025,000 in the big blind and he earned two folds.

Brian Kamphorst raised to 200,000 in the cutoff the next hand. Diaz three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind and Athanasios Kidas cold-called in the big blind, Kamphorst folded. Diaz opted to check the {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and Kidas bet 900,000 to win the pot uncontested.

"Did you have a good hand?" Diaz inquired and Kidas replied "very good hand, I had a pocket pair."

Kidas Above Ten Million

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Athanasios Kidas
Athanasios Kidas

On the river of a completed board {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}, Brian Kamphorst opted to check from under the gun.

Athanasios Kidas on the button made it 600,000 to go and Kamphorst reluctantly called.

The Greek tabled the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for the jack-high straight and further pulled ahead at the top of the leaderboard.

Yosifov Can't Bluff Kamphorst

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Dimitar Yosifov raised from the hijack to 200,000 and got a call from Brian Kamphorst from the button. Yossi Dayan and Guillaume Diaz called from the blinds.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Yosifov continued for 225,000 getting a call only from Kamphorst.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Yosifov bet 250,000. Kamphorst called and took the pot down with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} as his opponent turned over their {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Dayan Triples Up in Spectacular Fashion

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Yossi Dayan

The action started with a raise to 200,000 by Brian Kamphorst and Yossi Dayan then jammed for 1,310,000. Dimitar Yosifov in the big blind went over the top and Kamphorst snap-called as the biggest stack.

Yossi Dayan: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Dimitar Yosifov: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Brian Kamphorst: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop kept Kamphorst in the lead but the {a-Diamonds} turn suddenly vaulted Yosifov into the lead. There would be another twist to the story as the {10-Diamonds} river gave Dayan the triple up while Yosifov doubled through Kamphorst in the side pot for 570,000.

Nedelcu Check-Raises Successfully

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Stanislav Koleno raised to 260,000 and Tomas Denie then three-bet to 660,000, which won the pot uncontested.

One hand later, Narcis Nedelcu defended the big blind against a button raise by Alexander Tkatschew. The {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} flop brought a check by Nedelcu and Tkatschew bet 120,000. Nedelcu check-raised to 275,000 and that won the pot as Nedelcu flashed {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}.
