Mateos Collects More
Level 15
: 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ermanno Di Nicola opened to 17,000 with A♥K♦ in early position and was called by Adrian Mateos, holding 5♣5♦ in the hijack.
Action went heads up to the J♣9♦2♥ flop, where Di Nicola led out for 19,000 and Mateos made the call. The 3♦ turn then saw both both players check to the 3♥ river.
Another round of checks had Mateos raking in more chips, as his pocket pair held to leave Di Nicola a little shorter.
