Heads-up on a flop of 9♣4♠K♥, Paolo Concetti bet 135,000 from the button before Francis Klar moved all in for 550,000 in early position. Concetti snap-called.

"Aw, a set," Concetti said upon seeing Klar's nines. He was looking for one of the remaining two aces but missed the 5♣ turn and 7♦ river as Klar survived.

"Gotta keep punching," Concetti said, adopting a boxing stance.

"Good thing you had the chips to survive it. Other people are out," tablemate Jason Wheeler told him.

Kamaras check-called a 100,000 bet from Kuru on the 7♥8♠K♣ flop but check-folded facing a second barrel of 225,000 from Kuru on the K♦ turn.

Kamaras, who entered Day 2 as the chip leader, currently sits with 350,000.

Giovanni Stagliano raised to 105,000 from middle position and was called by Daniel Lehmann on the button for a heads-up pot.

Stagliano check-called a 100,000 bet from Lehmann on the 9♣10♦K♣ flop and checked again on the 3♣ turn.

Lehmann then bet enough to put Stagliano all in for his last 350,000.

"Show if I fold?" Stagliano asked to no reply. Stagliano then folded Q♥Q♦ face up. Lehmann revealed he held pocket aces as he collected the pot.

"If you shove preflop I call," Stagliano said. "The king saved me!"

Elia Salerno raised to 85,000 on the button and just behind him, Peter Kamaras shoved for approximately 550,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to Salerno, who quickly put in a call to put Kamaras at risk.

Kamaras would need some help to survive, but the Q♥A♣4♣4♥3♣ runout improved Salerno to aces-up — sending the once chip leader to the rail.
