Bilan, Constantin Run Out

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Florin Bilan was all in for around 600,000 from the button and up against Niklas Bauer in early position.

Florin Bilan: JJ
Niklas Bauer: QQ

Bilan had run into a higher pocket pair and was sent off to collect a payday once the board ran out K10A63.

At the same time at another table, Adrian Constantin, who had flirted with the chip leader earlier in the day, was down to around 400,000 and was all in against Stefan Zaugg.

Adrian Constantin: A5
Stefan Zaugg: KQ

The AQ2 flop gave both players a pair, but Zaugg improved to two pair on the K turn. The river came the 7 and Constantin was eliminated.

Salerno Eliminates Kuru

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Serkan Kuru shoved for his last 1,400,000 on the button and it was folded to Elia Salerno in the big blind, who called to put Kuru at risk.

Serkan Kuru: 55
Elia Salerno: AJ

It was a race, but the 4A8 flop paired Salerno's ace and left Kuru drawing slim.

The Q turn and 7 river were of no help to Kuru and he was sent to the payout desk late in Day 2.

Dimitrios Katsikas shoved for 745,000 chips from under the gun, and he was called by Marius Gicovanu in the hijack. After him, one player seemed to hesitate, but everybody folded.

Dimitrios Katsikas: 1010
Marius Gicovanu: QQ

Katsikas couldn't do anything against Gicovanu's queens on 95964. He was eliminated in 67th place for €4,235.

Denizart Shoves Into Kalebashvili's Pair

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Artiom Poddubnii raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Louis Denizart called on the button. Lazare Kalebashvili then three-bet to 675,000 in the small blind.

Poddubnii folded, but Denizart moved all in for 2,100,000 and Kalebashvili quickly called.

Louis Denizart: A10
Lazare Kalebashvili: 1010

Denizart was looking for an ace to double up in what had turned into a 4,000,000-chip pot, but none came on the K5963 board and he was sent to the rail.

Two Pair for Troyanovskiy

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 165,000 from the button, called only by Daniel Lehmann in the small blind.

Both players agreed on a check on 8A10. But on the turn 6, Lehmann took the lead and bet 200,000.

Troyanovskiy didn't back down and called to find the A on the river. But this card didn't bring any action, as both players checked.

Quickly, Lehmann showed KJ for a missed straight draw. Troyanovskiy had K10 for two pair, so he scooped the pot.

Heads-up on a board of 9729, Jamel Ghizaoui bet 600,000 from middle position before Fabio Peluso moved all in for around 800,000 in the big blind.

Ghizaoui called the extra amount and turned over QJ for just queen-high. Peluso had Q9 for trips and already had Ghizaoui drawing dead heading to the K river, securing a double up.

Treys Enough For Shehadeh

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Sebastien Grax opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and was called by Luigi Shehadeh in the small blind.

Shehadeh check-called an 80,000 bet from Grax on the 64Q flop and then both players checked down on the 8 turn and 4 river.

Shehadeh turned over 33 for a baby two pair and Grax mucked — conceding the pot to Shehadeh.

Straight on the River For Ghizaoui

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Sabri Neziri raised to 150,000 from the button, and Jamel Ghizaoui defended from the big blind.

On the flop 35K, Neziri bet 130,000, but Ghizaoui check-raised to 325,000. Neziri made the call, then checked back on the turn 9.

The 6 came on the river, and Ghizaoui threw 700,000 in front of him. Neziri called, but mucked his cards when Ghizaoui revealed 42 for a straight hit on the river.
