Demasi Runs Into Romme's Aces
Level 22
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Giuseppe Demasi moved all in for 150,000 in the cutoff and Alexander Romme called in the big blind.
Giuseppe Demasi: A♦Q♦
Alexander Romme: A♣A♥
Romme had woken up with aces, and while Demasi got some hope on the K♠J♥7♣ flop with a straight draw, he improved no further on the K♣ turn and 7♥ river as Romme took the pot to send him to the exit.
