Queens Crushed: Grassmann’s Nightmare Matchup Against Kings

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Every poker player has faced this situation: you hold pocket queens, get all your chips in, and pray not to run into a bigger pair. Unfortunately for Patrick Grassmann, that’s exactly what happened when his QQ ran into Dominique Potenza’s KK.

The flop crushed Grassmann’s hopes as it came down 32K, leaving him with slim chances. The 7 turn and the 6 river offered no help, and Potenza sent Grassmann to the rail.
