Sejdat Fisniku raised to 40,000 in middle position, Axel Bayout moved all in for 300,000 on the button, and Fisniku called.
Axel Bayout: A♥Q♣
Sejdat Fisniku: 10♣10♦
Bayout was racing for his tournament life as the flop came K♠5♥6♣. Fisniku hit a set on the 10♥ turn, but Bayout spiked the J♥ on the river to make a straight as Fisniku slammed the table in frustration before tossing over the chips to Bayout.
Luigi Caputo raised to 35,000 in early position and was called by Tomas Svec in middle position. Sven Beiser then committed his final 100,000 from the cutoff, and Caputo rejammed for around 400,000.
Svec quickly got out of the way as the other two showed down.
Sven Beiser: 10♠9♥
Luigi Caputo: K♥Q♦
Caputo flopped two pair on K♦Q♣10♣, and neither the 5♦ turn nor the 6♦ river could save Beiser from his elimination.
Enrico Linke raised to 30,000 in middle position before start-of-day chip leader Cosmin Nica three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Linke four-bet to 235,000, Nica moved all in, and Linke snap-called for 650,000.
Enrico Linke: A♠K♠
Cosmin Nica: A♦Q♠
Linke had Nica dominated with around 1,300,000 at stake as the flop came A♣A♥4♣, giving both players trips. Linke's king-kicker remained in the lead on the 5♣ turn, while the river was the J♥ as Linke let out a loud yell as he celebrated taking down the pot that elevated him among the chip leaders.
Enrico Linke raised to 40,000 as first to act. The action folded to Cosmin Nica in the hijack, who three-bet to 100,000.
Linke bumped up the price to 200,000 once it was his turn again, and received a snap fold from his opponent, seeing him chip up to a stack worth 75 big blinds.
Heads-up on a flop of J♥6♠2♥, Lishai Heshbon bet 50,000 from the hijack before Ranko Miodrag moved all in for 230,000 in the small blind. Heshbon gave the decision some thought before calling.
Ranko Miodrag: A♠J♦
Lishai Heshbon: 6♦5♦
Miodrag was ahead with top pair against Heshbon's pair of sixes. The rest of the board came Q♥7♠ and Miodrag doubled up.
At the same time at another table, action folded to Berkan Balli in the small blind who raised to 45,000. Georg Strebel three-bet to 140,000 in the big blind and Balli four-bet to 305,000. Strebel then moved all in for 520,000.
Balli cut out the chips to call and leaned back in his seat as he tanked for several minutes. He eventually folded and Strebel took down the big pot without seeing a flop.
