Fernandez Finishes Woerndl

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Philipp Woerndl jammed all in for 205,000 under the gun and was called by Carlos Fernandes in middle position. The remaining players folded before the pair showed down.

Philipp Woerndl: K7 All in
Carlos Fernandes: A10

The 696 flop brought Fernandes a flush draw, and he locked up the pot when a third heart arrived on the Q turn.

The 9 river was rendered meaningless, seeing Woerndl say his goodbyes just after the dinner break.

Betrix Cracks Ardelean's Set

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With around 200,000 in the pot on a flop of AKQ, Renato Ardelean bet 110,000 from middle positon and Manoe Betrix called on the button.

The turn was the 10 and Ardelean bet another 110,000. Betrix then raised to 500,000 and Ardelean tanked for a few minutes before moving all in for 505,000. Betrix put in the extra chip to call.

Ardelean showed QQ for a set, but Betrix had AJ for a straight and held on through the 9 river to earn the pot and send Ardelean to the rail.

Thomas Kirchner made a bold move, shoving all in with his last 105,000 chips from the cutoff. After asking for a chip count, Patrik Demus in the big blind decided to make the call. In a lighthearted moment, Kirchner joked that his all-in was worth even more because he was also tossing in his apple, which had served as his trusty card protector throughout the day.

Thomas Kirchner: K10All in
Patrik Demus: J10

The flop came down Q7J, giving Kirchner a glimmer of hope as he flopped a straight draw.

With every turn of the cards, he was eager for more good news, and his prayers were answered when the A appeared on the turn, providing him with the straight he needed.

As the river brought the J, it did not change the outcome of the hand. Kirchner's hand held strong, allowing him to double up and keep his tournament hopes alive, much to his relief.

Tomas Svec
Tomas Svec

Tomas Svec: Q10 All in
Antonio Jelenković: Q3

Jelenkovic had flopped two pair to dominate Svec's pair of queens. The hand was almost over once the 3 hit the turn, upgrading Jelenkovic to a full house.
