Stand Up Trick Works For Bechahed

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Sami Bechahed was left with just 30,000 after doubling up Sergii Baranov a few hands before and moved all in on the button. Andreas Bremer called in the big blind to put him at risk.

Sami Bechahed: J10 All in
Andreas Bremer: A10

"Good game, guys," Bechahed told his tablemates as he started walking away while the dealer turned over the AQ3 flop to give Bremer top pair. The 7 fell on the turn and Bechahed was nearly out of the tournament area before the K fell on the river to give him a straight.

"You win," a tablemate yelled over to him as Bechahed returned to collect his double up.

"It works universally," Symeon Alexandridis added.

Bremer Has the Better Two Pair

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Seven Card Stud

Andreas Bremer: XxXx/3675/Xx
Sergii Baranov: XxXx/822Q/Xx

Sergii Baranov bet on fourth street and Andreas Bremer called.

Baranov bet again on fifth and Bremer called. Bremer then bet on sixth and Baranov called to seventh, where he faced another bet from Bremer.

Baranov again called. "Two pair," Bremer said, and Baranov showed J108 for eights and deuces. Bremer, though, had KK5 for kings and fives.

"Oh, you have the kings," Baranov said as he surrendered the pot.

No Triple for Jobin as Tsang Ships Huge Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante
Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

No-Limit Hold'em

Sebastian Cantzler raised to 13,000 in the cutoff and was called by Anson Tsang on the button. Yannick Jobin then jammed all in from the small blind for 76,000 and was called in both positions.

Cantzler checked to Tsang on the 54J board. Tsang bet 45,000 and Cantzler called. Tsang sized up to 70,000 on the 2 turn.

Cantzler spent some minutes in the tank before folding his hand and leaving the other players to show down.

Yannick Jobin: KQ All in
Anson Tsang: JJ

Jobin was drawing dead against Tsang's set. The 2 upgraded Tsang to a useless full house as he scooped up the massive pot and eclipsed the half-million mark.

Loikkanen Pushes Into Three

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mikkel Plum made a raise to 7,000 in the hijack. Aaron Duczak called on the button, as did Dzmitry Urbanovich in the small blind.

Big blind Aaron Duczak then three-bet to 35,000, about two-thirds of his stack. Plum folded before Duczak rejammed. Urbanovich got out of the way, leaving the players to show down.

Arto Loikkanen: KK97 All in
Aaron Duczak: 7733

Loikkanen's kings faced little danger on Q2Q410 and he doubled up.

Tomasz Gluszko raised his button and called the subsequent three-bet from Pierre Erbland in the big blind. Erbland fired every street on the 492QJ board and was called thrice by Gluszko.

Bueno Hits the River to Bust Alioto

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante
Dario Alioto
Dario Alioto

Omaha Hi-Lo

Dario Alioto put his last chips in on a flop of 2K10 in a blind versus blind confrontation as Patrick Bueno called.

Dario Alioto: A1054 All in
Patrick Bueno: QJ108

Both players had a pair of tens, but Alioto was ahead with his ace-kicker. The K turn improved both players to two pair, but Bueno spiked the J on the river to make kings and jacks and send Alioto to the rail.

Mikkel Plum
Mikkel Plum

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mikkel Plum committed his remaining stack of 10,000 from the big blind on a flop of Q34. Aaron Duczak in the hijack looked him up and the cards were tabled.

Mikkel Plum: Q863 All in
Aaron Duczak: QJ109

Plum's two pair remained best on the 5 turn, but the J rivered Duczak a higher two pair to take down the pot and eliminate Plum.
