Awad and Betrix Face Off for the Pot

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop came down A10Q, and with about 62,500 in the pot, Manoe Betrix, first to act, checked to Mousa Awad, who then pushed all-in. Betrix wasn’t thrilled with the move and took some time to think it over but ultimately made the call.

Manoe Betrix: A9All in
Mousa Awad: A6

Betrix was slightly ahead with the better kicker, but Awad struck gold with the 6 on the turn. However, the drama wasn’t over yet; the 10 hit the river, giving both players two pair—aces and tens, with the queen as kicker. In the end, it was a split pot.
