Dick Shocked to Win a Pot
Level 15
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Frederik Thiemer raised to 17,000 in the hijack before Michael Dick three-bet to 42,000 on the button. Said Madani called in the small blind, while Thiemer also called as they went three-handed to the A♦6♦6♠ flop.
All three players checked and the Q♦ fell on the turn. Madani then bet 20,000 and both Thiemer and Dick called.
The river was the 4♠ and Madani bet another 35,000. Thiemer quickly folded, but Dick took several minutes until he called. Madani then showed 8♦8♣.
"Wow," Dick said, turning over A♥J♠ for two pair as he took the pot.
