Madani and De Souza Win With Similar-Sized Bets

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Arriving on a completed board of 65242, Said Madani tossed in a bet of 11,500 into a pot of 19,000. Janne Nevalainen took his time on the button until eventually the clock was called on him.

During his countdown, he sighed and then folded, surrendering the pot. Over at another table, 43AJ8 had been put on the table as board. Cheng Zhao checked from the small blind to Belarmino De Souza in the big blind.

De Souza fired 11,000 into the 29,500 pot. Zhao tanked for a bit before calling it off. De Souza tabled J7 for a flush and took the pot as Zhao mucked his cards.

Hissou Takes From Atac

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the monotone flop of Q83 where Salih Atac check-called a bet of 5,500 from Sirzat Hissou.

The 3 turn saw another check-call from Atac, this time a wager of 14,000. The 6 river was checked down. Atac showed 55 and Hissou's KQ gave him a superior two pair and a nice pot.

Lee Takes From Camosci

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Daehyung Lee had raised from the cutoff and Enrico Camosci defended out of the big blind.

Camosci check-called a bet of 1,000 from Lee on the A48 flop.

Both players checked the 7 turn and the 10 came on the river. Camosci led out for 3,300 and Lee snap-called. Camosci showed top pair with A6, but was out-kicked by the AK of Lee.

Ndoj Has Kicker Problems

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Aaron Duczak raised to 1,200 under the gun. The action folded to Elmir Ndoj in the big blind, who called.

The flop fell Q5K, seeing Ndoj check-call a 1,500 bet by Duczak. Duczak sized up to 3,500 on the J turn. Ndoj stuck around and check-called to the 4 river.

Both players quickly checked. Ndoj tabled K9 for top pair, but he was outkicked by the AK of Duczak and lost the pot.

Sheils Busts Mulaj With Bottom Pair

Rama Mulaj raised to 1,200 in middle position. Brandon Sheils tossed in a three-bet to 3,800 from the hijack, which Mulaj quickly called.

Sheils continued for 3,000 on the 4103 flop. Mulaj check-raised to 11,000, and Sheils tossed in a call.

The 8 turn saw Mulaj quickly move in for his remaining 40,000. Sheils sighed but put in a quick call with the covering stack.

Sheils figured he would be behind but he was miles ahead of Mulaj's ace-king high. The Q river did not improve Mulaj's hand, sending him to the rail early on Day 1.

Selcuk Fires Into Full House

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Christophe Panetti found Q9 on the button and raised to 1,400. Panagiotis Oikonomou called in the small blind with 55 and Abdullah Selcuk came along with Q9 in the big blind.

The 588 was checked by Oikonomou before Selcuk decided to lead out for 3,300. Panetti quickly folded his queen-high before Oikonomou slow-played and called.

Selcuk sized up to 6,000 on the 2 turn and was once again check-called by Oikonomou. Selcuk attempted to buy the pot with his 3,300 bet on the 10 river but was quickly check-raised all-in by his opponent.

He folded his hand, after which Oikonomou was kind enough to show his full house.

Herold Gets the Better of Behrens Again

With around 14,000 in the pot on a board of 9Q69K, Patrick Behrens had checked the river over to Kai Herold, who bet 6,000. Behrens then put in the check-raise to 15,000, which sent Herold into the tank. After thinking it over, Herold elected to call.

Behrens flipped over top two pair with KQ, but Herold had the winner as he turned trips holding J9 to scoop the pot

Di Cegile Wins Multiway Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Sirzat Hissou opened from under the gun to 1,200. Jan Wieckenberg called from the cutoff before to Pasquale Di Ceglie raised from the button to 5,200. Hissou and Wieckenberg called.

They both checked the 692 to Di Cegile who bet 6,500. Hissou and Wieckenberg quickly folded.

Miadzel Dents Zizka's stack

The action was caught on a turn of 3Q29, where Stanislaw Miadzel checked from early position to Zdenek Zizka in the cutoff. Zizka placed a bet of 8,800 into the pot of 10,000, which Miadzel called.

The 4 river was checked through, after which Miadzel tabled AQ for top pair. Zizka smiled as he tossed his cards into the muck, seeing Miadzel chip up.

Elmir Ndoj raised to 1,200 under the gun with KJ and Christophe Panetti called in the cutoff, holding 87. Panagiotis Oikonomou tossed in a small three-bet to 2,800 with AQ on the button and received two calls.

The action checked to Oikonomou on the K49 flop, and he bet 3,200. Ndoj called his top pair before Panetti folded. Both players checked through the 5 turn, leading to the 8 river hitting the felt.

Ndoj led out for a small bet of 2,000. Oikonomou considered a call but eventually settled on a correct fold
