Herold Makes a River Raise

Kai Herold opened from early position and both Patrick Behrens & Vladimir Troyanovskiy called out of the blinds.

On the flop of 9Q9, Behrens and Troyanovskiy checked it over to Herold, who fired 1,300. Behrens called, and Troyanovskiy folded.

The A turn was checked through to the A river where Behrens led out for 2,200, and Herold made a raise to 8,000. Behrens folded.

Mustafov's Big Bets Get Zimmerer to Fold

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Markus Zimmerer three-bet to 7,000 from the big blind over an open from Fahredin Mustafov out of the small blind. Mustafov called and the dealer fanned out the flop of 81010 which both players checked.

The 6 turn saw Mustafov fire out a pot-sized bet of 18,000. Zimmerer thought it over briefly before making the call.

Mustafov didn't slow down on the 5 river as he put out an overbet of 68,000, which was for the majority of Zimmerer's stack. Zimmerer pondered over the decision before folding and forfeiting the pot to Mustafov.

Boat Over Boat

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Paulius Mikaliunas opened from under the gun to 1,200. Negjdet Avdylaj reraised to 2,500. Action folded around to Mikaliunas who called.

Mikaliunas check-called a bet of 2,400 on the flop of AJA. The K turn was checked around before Mikaliunas led for 5,100. He was snap-called.

Mikaliunas showed JJ for jacks full of aces but was bested by Avdulaj's AJ for aces full of jacks.

Erik Van Hulst said "welcome to the Main Event" to Mikaliunas as Avdulaj scooped the pot.

Paduano Best In Four-Way Three-Bet Pot

Markus Lehner raised to 1,2000 under the gun and Abdullah Selcuk called in the hijack. Arturo Paduano also tossed in calling chips in the cutoff before big blind Niklas Astedt three-bet to 7,000.

Undeterred, all three players called, after which Astedt checked the 8J4 flop. Lehner also checked, after which Selcuk bet 8,800.

Paduano made the call while Astedt and Lehner quickly got out of the way, holding AQ and Q10 respectively.

The 6 turn slowed down Selcuk. who checked it to Paduano. Paduano fired 18,200 in the middle, which Selcuk called after some thinking time.

The 3 river was quickly checked down. Selcuk tabled 108 for a pair of eights with a missed flush draw.

Paduano showed down AJ for top pair, taking down the massive pot and leaving Selcuk with a quarter of a starting stack.

"Lena" Gets Out of Line

Elmir Ndoj saw A10 in the hijack and raised to 1,200. Niklas Astedt decided to three-bet to 4,000 on the button, prompting Markus Lehner to call cold in the small blind.

Ndoj folded his hand, leaving the other players heads up on a flop of Q29. Lehner checked, Astedt put in a continuation-bet of 3,000, and Lehner called.

On the 3 turn, Astedt kept up the pressure with a bet of 12,000. Lehner was not convinced, however, and check-called.

Lehner's third check followed on the 4 river. Astedt took some thinking time before checking back. Lehner showed 77 for third pair, and Astedt mucked his adventurous J3.

Vito Branciforte opened from early position to 1,200 before Aram Sargsyan three-bet to 2,800 from the hijack. Meik Schoenberg just called from the small blind and Branciforte four-bet to 11,000. Sargsyan folded quickly but Schoenberg went deep into the tank. Eventually, he reluctantly folded and flipped over QJ, to which Branciforte commented:

"Monster fold"

Astedt Assesses Situation Correctly

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Niklas Astedt found 76 under the gun and raised to 1,200. Elmir Ndoj called in the small blind with K3 while the rest of the table folded.

Astedt continued for 800 on the 6K9 flop and Ndoj check-called. Both players checked through the 4 turn before Ndoj bet out for 1,200 on the 4 river.

Astedt took one last look at his cards and then added them to the muck, making the correct fold.

Oikonomou Bricks Flush Draw

Panagiotis Oikonomou opened for 1,300 under the gun with A3 and Christophe Panetti defended his big blind holding J8. Oikonomou continued for 2,600 on the 5JJ flop and was check-called by Panetti.

The Q turn was then checked through before Panetti bet 6,600 on the 7 river with his trips. Oikonomou quickly folded ace-high and the small pot was shipped to Panetti.

Atac Wins Big Pot on Turn

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Rene Baranek in the big blind, Salih Atac in middle position, and Symeon Alexandridis in the cutoff had created a pot of 15,000 when the flop of 849 was dealt.

Baranek checked to Atac, who fired a bet of 6,500. Alexandridis called before Baranek got out of the way. The 2 hit the turn, seeing Atac size up to 21,000.

Alexandridis snap folded, prompting Atac to ask his opponent what he had folded. Alexandridis did not give away anything, however, and Atac stacked his newly acquired chips instead.
